What is Monad?

Monad is a decentralized, high-performance Layer-1 blockchain built to redefine scalability and developer experience. It combines EVM compatibility, ultra-fast execution, and near-zero fees with MonadBFT consensus and parallel processing — enabling secure, efficient, and truly decentralized applications at global scale.

What is NRR (Network Reward Rate) in the Monad network?

The Network Reward Rate (NRR) in Monad defines the potential staking rewards distributed to users who delegate MON tokens to validators securing the protocol. This reflects participation in the network's Proof-of-Stake security model and consensus process. The NRR will be announced after the mainnet launch.

What are the benefits of staking Monad (MON)?

Staking MON is a secure and reliable method for earning rewards in the crypto world. Its value stems from the blockchain's native currency inflation, providing predictability. By staking your MON tokens, you contribute to network security and receive rewards. Without staking, your token share may be diluted as others stake their tokens, leading to the accumulation of new tokens in the network. It helps secure the Monad blockchain and allows token holders to:
Low-cost & scalable applications
Long-term growth of your assets
Active participation
Enhanced network Efficiency
Support for interoperability
